I was born in Paterson NJ also known as "SilkCity." Both of my parents are straight from Ecuador. I came to be on March 19, 1983, which makes me 29 years old, in which I do not feel like that age. I feel like a 15 year old and I look like a 20 year old.
Growing up I was inspired to draw by seeing all the graffiti on the walls in the street, and in Hip Hop/Graffiti magazines. I also found inspiration by simply going to art class throughout grammar school and high school.
Today my inspirations have expanded to the great art geniuses of the past and present. Such as Picasso, Rembrandt, Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, Basquiat, Bansky, Leonardo Da Vinci, etc.
My style is a little bit of everything, tribal, portraits, landscape, graffiti, etc. I also do a lot of writing in my journal. At times I write rap lyrics whenever I'm bored. I always strive to be better than yesterday in my art and in life in general.
I currently attend Passaic County Community College as a Graphic Design major. I've been living in Wayne, NJ for about 15 years now, which is a 10 minute ride away from Paterson.
I love art, I believe it has a magical attribute to it. It is good for the brain and soul. I often encourage younger people and kids to pick up a pen or pencil and draw or write, because like I said there is something magical when you are engaging in creating something.
